A little help along the way
We’re here to help.
For delivery, purchase or activation questions, open your Gather The Days order in Etsy purchases and use the order’s help or message option. Guest buyers can start with their Etsy receipt email.
For app support or privacy requests, email info@gatherthedays.com. Gather The Days is operated by Mosaique, LLC, Illinois, USA. You can read the guidance below without signing in.
We normally reply within two business days, Monday–Friday, excluding US holidays. Assistant activation codes are sent through Etsy Messages within 48 hours of purchase.
When you contact us
Include the page number, the message shown in the assistant, and a short description of what you were trying to do. Share an order number only through a private support channel. Do not send passwords, API keys, full activation codes or a full album of private family photographs. A screenshot with personal details hidden is usually enough to begin.
Questions, answered
Where is my template or access code?
Start with the delivery message or download for your Etsy order. We review eligible purchases manually and send each assistant activation code separately through Etsy Messages within 48 hours of purchase. The code is not included in the shared template link or instant download. A shared template link alone does not activate the assistant. If 48 hours have passed and your code is missing, contact us through that Etsy order.
How do I open the Story Writing Assistant?
Open your editable copy of the Gather The Days yearbook in Canva. In the editor’s side panel, choose Apps, search for Gather The Days, and open it. Follow Canva’s prompts, then enter the code from your Etsy order in Access code and choose Activate with code. Stay in the Canva account and team you intend to use for your yearbook. Click a supported page to load its writing fields; you do not need to select a text box. If you cannot find the app, contact support to check availability for your account.
Why does my code not work?
Copy the complete code from your order conversation. Claim it using the Canva account and team you plan to keep using. A code already claimed by another account cannot activate a second account. If you chose the wrong account or team, contact support before purchasing again.
How do I save and return to my work?
Wait for “Saved to your workbook” before closing the assistant. Return to the same Canva account, team and workbook. If the panel says “Not saved,” keep it open and try saving again. Copy important unsaved wording somewhere safe before closing.
Why won't Apply change the page?
Read the status below Undo and Reset first. Fully unlock the page, the story text boxes and any groups containing them in Canva; a position-only lock still prevents the assistant from applying changes. Click the intended page and review the loaded wording. If the message mentions a moved or resized layout, follow that specific guidance before trying again. Wait for any current operation to finish rather than repeatedly clicking Apply. If it still does not work, send support the page number and exact status message, with personal details hidden.
What do Undo and Reset do?
Undo reverses the latest tracked draft or applied-story change on the current page. Reset restores that page’s original template wording. They do not delete your account data, photographs or whole workbook.
How are generations counted?
Each eligible yearbook purchase includes 300 successful AI generations. Each successful draft or rewrite uses one generation, even when it fills several text boxes on the page. Failed generation attempts do not consume a generation. Applying, editing, Undo, Reset and reopening saved drafts use none. A lost connection does not always mean the generation failed: if it completed successfully, it counts once. Use Retry page draft when offered to recover that same request without another deduction.
What happens when I use all 300 generations?
New AI generations stop when your available balance reaches zero. You can still access, edit and apply saved drafts, and use Undo and Reset. Unused generations currently have no time-based expiry; this is separate from the recovery period for a generated result. Additional credits are currently unavailable. The allowance does not renew automatically or create a subscription. Access remains subject to the Terms, including cancelled or refunded purchases and material service changes.
Why isn't this page recognized?
It works with supported Gather The Days yearbook layouts. Click the intended page without selecting a text box and allow its wording to load. If several template pages share a layout, the assistant may ask you to identify the original headline once. If it still cannot connect, contact support with the page number and message shown.
How do I prepare the album for print?
Follow your included yearbook manual and the printer’s requirements for size, bleed, page count and file format. Review your exported PDF and, where possible, a print proof. Printing and printer support are provided separately.
Privacy requests
The privacy page explains what the assistant saves and sends for AI processing. Saved memories and drafts remain until you request deletion. Email info@gatherthedays.com to make a request; we need to verify the account and identify the workbooks involved. A reliable account-wide deletion process has not yet been implemented and tested. Support will explain the current limits and confirm only removals that have actually been verified. Reset and uninstalling the app are not deletion requests.
