Terms of use
Effective October 9, 2026
Gather The Days is operated by Mosaique, LLC, Illinois, USA. These terms describe the yearbook system and the Story Writing Assistant included with an eligible Etsy purchase. Contact info@gatherthedays.com with questions.
The yearbook system
Gather The Days is a digital family yearbook system with editable Canva layouts, planning tools, guidance and a Story Writing Assistant. A printed book and printing services are not included. You arrange printing separately and should check your printer’s requirements and review your finished file before ordering.
Using the assistant
The assistant works inside Canva with supported Gather The Days templates. A template link by itself does not establish paid access. An eligible purchase is activated using the individual code provided through the purchase process, bound to the Canva account and team used to claim it.
Use the same Canva account, team and workbook to return to saved work. A separate workbook copy has its own assistant drafts. Contact support before changing the account or team you use for the assistant.
Included generations
The Story Writing Assistant is included at no additional charge with each eligible yearbook purchase. Each eligible purchase includes an allowance of 300 successful AI generations. A successful draft or rewrite uses one generation and can include multiple text boxes on that page. Manual edits, Apply, Undo, Reset and reopening saved drafts do not consume generations. Failed generation attempts do not consume a generation.
When the included allowance runs out, you can still access, edit and apply saved drafts. New AI generations stop unless you have another available generation allowance. Exhausting your allowance does not remove your saved work or wording already applied to your Canva design.
Unused generations currently have no time-based expiry. This is separate from the retention period for generation recovery copies described in our Privacy Policy. Any additional credit product, its price and terms must be shown before purchase. Using the assistant does not create a subscription or recurring charge. Additional credit purchases are not currently available.
Your memories and generated wording
You remain responsible for the text, photographs and other materials you choose to use, including having permission to use them. AI suggestions may contain errors, omit important details or resemble other writing. Review every suggestion before applying it or ordering a printed album.
The assistant does not apply generated wording automatically. Apply updates the managed text boxes on the current page after your review. Keep your own copies of important photographs and completed album exports.
Template license
The template is licensed for personal family album creation unless a separate commercial license is provided. You may customize it for your own family album, edit text, colors and photos, duplicate pages within your own Canva copy, save a backup for your own future use, and print the finished album for yourself or as a personal gift.
You may not resell the Canva template; share, sell or redistribute its template link; claim the template design as your own original design; use its pages to create competing templates for resale; or upload the editable template to public template libraries. Included guides and prompt materials are for your personal family yearbook and may not be resold or redistributed. This summarizes the permissions and restrictions in the supplied Yearbook Manual and included materials. Any separate commercial license supplied with your purchase continues to apply; assistant access does not expand the template license.
Purchases, refunds and support
The assistant and its 300-generation allowance are included at no additional charge with each eligible Etsy purchase and form part of the advertised yearbook package. If you have a purchase-related issue, including a problem accessing or using the included assistant, contact us through Help with order on your Etsy order. We handle purchase issues, cancellation requests and refund requests through that order under the policy shown at purchase and applicable consumer law. Nothing in these terms limits your applicable consumer rights or any remedies available through Etsy. If the qualifying purchase is cancelled or refunded, assistant generation access associated with it may be revoked. This does not automatically remove words already applied to your Canva design.
Independent services
Gather The Days is independently created for use with Canva. Canva, Etsy and printing providers operate their own services under their own terms. Their availability and account features are outside the assistant’s control.
Assistant availability and service changes
The Story Writing Assistant may be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems or changes to the services it depends on. If an interruption affects your access, contact support so we can investigate and help you recover access where possible.
If we materially change or discontinue the assistant, we will notify affected customers through the app, their Etsy order or another available contact channel. For planned changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice wherever possible, explain the effect on access, saved drafts and unused generations, and provide guidance on preserving saved work. If advance notice is not possible, we will notify affected customers as soon as reasonably possible. We will address purchase-related concerns through the Etsy order, including any remedies required by applicable consumer law.
